EzGathr policies

Cookies & browser storage

How sign-in, form security, and optional saved planning tools use your browser.

Effective and last updated · Applies to this demonstration website.

Essential cookies

Cookies are small values your browser sends back to a site. This demo uses them for the following functions:

  • Sign-in: the ezgathr cookie identifies a signed-in demo session. Sign out to remove it. Browser session recovery settings can affect how long session cookies remain.
  • Demo profile memory: where demo profiles are offered, the ezgathr_demo cookie remembers up to a handful you started, so "Continue as…" on the sign-in page can offer to sign back into one instead of starting a fresh one. It holds no readable content by itself; clearing it, or signing out, does not delete the profiles themselves, only this browser's memory of them.
  • Form security: cookies with names beginning .AspNetCore.Antiforgery. work with form tokens to help prevent forged submissions.
  • Status messages: .AspNetCore.Mvc.CookieTempDataProvider carries temporary feedback, such as confirmation after sending a message, until it is read or cleared.

These cookies support requested site functions. Blocking them can prevent sign-in, form submissions, or confirmation messages from working.

Optional saving on your device

Guide checklists and the venue comparison tool offer a remember or save option. Saving is off until you enable it, unless you previously saved a copy in that browser. The saved information stays in browser local storage and has no automatic expiry in the app.

  • Guide checklists: keys beginning ezgathr:guide-checklist: contain the items you checked for that guide.
  • Venue comparison: ezgathr:venue-comparison:v1 contains saved comparison fields, notes, references, progress, and recipient details you entered.

Anyone using your browser profile may access these saved copies. Turn off remembering in the relevant tool to remove its saved copy, or clear this site's data in your browser settings. Clearing only cookies may leave local storage intact. Downloaded files and information you shared must be removed separately.

Maps and tracking

Maps load images from OpenStreetMap, which receives technical request information such as your IP address. Its privacy policy explains that processing. The current demo does not include advertising cookies or third-party behavioral analytics scripts. Server diagnostics are described in our Privacy policy.

This demo does not implement a separate response to browser Do Not Track signals. Optional planning storage is controlled by the tool's own save setting. If optional advertising or analytics technologies are introduced, their purposes and any required choices must be provided before they are enabled.

Your controls

Use your browser's site settings to inspect, block, or delete cookies and local storage for this site. Signing out removes the sign-in cookie but does not clear saved checklists or comparisons. Clearing browser data does not delete inquiries or other server records; contact us about those.
